I’m at Top Pot Doughnuts on Capitol Hill, beginning to sort through the remainder of my photos (everything after Edinburgh – nearly 900 to go through) and have been unproductive because of a neat book I came across on the shelf near where I decided to sit – it’s called Lands and Peoples – British Isles and Western Europe, published in 1963 and it has a great story about the Scottish Highlands along with some fun pictures, many of areas I saw on my trip. It’s fun to read about the area in the perspective of 1963 – before Scotland held its own modern day parliament for example. Quite a fun find! The books at Top Pot aren’t necessarily just for decoration.

Now maybe I’ll get around to going through some more of my photos, I hope to get them uploaded soon!
